Valiant 11’s Come Second to Eversley

Despite a valiant effort by Oakley, Eversley proved the better side today with a 315 – 226 victory. Oakley chose to field first. Wickets were falling, in particular with Onela doing some fantastic bowling and getting two wickets, and Jacob and Remi getting a wicket each.

There followed a sterling batting performance from Oakley, with a ball whacking display from George and Ed, but these proved not quite enough to catch a well drilled Eversley side. At least everyone got to go home with homemade smartie brownies…thank you Sarah!
