Odiham batted first and got off to a steady start before Oscar Rowley took the wicket of of their opener thanks to a smart catch from Alex Gray.
Will Bentley bowled well and was unlucky not to pick up a wicket or two, leaving it to twins of spin, Clive Welsman and Dan Sumner make inroads into the Odiham batting line up and slow up the run rate.
As a bonus, Alex Gray and Jack Brundle combined well for a run-out as Odiham finished with a decent tally of 175-6.
Run machine, Brad Compton-Bearne, opened with Darrell Dimond and smashed his way to fifty before holing out, as did Alex Gray whilst looking good for a decent score.
Return to Form: Darrell Dimond hit 71
Darrell in the meantime, was showing a return to the kind of form the first team desperately need with a well crafted 71 that was aided by Clive Welsman as the Oaks recorded a deserved victory by 8 wickets.
An interesting week of selection issues awaits.
