The Oakley second string, unbeaten since 2013, hammered a beleaguered Easton yesterday after dismissing them for a paltry 35 in the warm May sunshine.
In what was described by vice captain, Dan Beckall, as a “perfect storm” the poor batting of Easton was met by devastating spells of bowling by Lance Van Dyk (4 wickets) and Steve Bown (6 wickets).

Oakley did lose two wickets but cruised to the total without further alarm demonstrating that they are more than well equipped for their recent promotion.
With the game wrapped up in under two hours, this allowed the players to take the short trip to Whitchurch to cheer on the firsts.
Up the Oaks!
