The first team made it seven out of seven on Saturday with a comfortable victory over St Cross at a humid Oakley Park.
Bowling first Oakley tore into St Cross and dismissed them for just 93 with some great bowling from Tom Holbrook, James Bright, Mark Potter and Clive Welsman doing the damage.
Wickets went to Clive, 5-26, Tommy, 2-24, and Mark Potter, 2-16.
Chasing the total, Adam Robinson, fresh from a week of batting coaching from Chairman, Bob Lethaby, tore into the St Cross attack with a blistering 82 not-out.
To see Adam executing the shots that Bob taught him, is great testimony of his desire to learn to bat with the same grace and style of his irrepressible Chairman.
So another a week and another win!
Up the Oaks!!
